Description
First created in the H. Upmann factory in Nuevo Vedado in 2006, the Montecristo Petit Edmundo is said to be one of the boldest Cuban cigars in such a petite vitola.
At 4.4” in length and a 52 ring gauge, this Petit Robusto packs a big punch right out of the box. The silky wrapper is firm to the touch with a light coffee color, and it wafts mild star anise and cedar notes on the prelight.
The Montecristo Petit Edmundo is known for its slow and even burn that carries you through 40-90 minutes filled with notes of coffee, oak, and cinnamon. The final third finishes with a flourish of marzipan and thick cream, rounding out a stunningly complex medium-bodied offering from one of the greatest Cuban cigar houses.
